Prior to using your product, we were building new and combo hardwood pallets for a food grade customer and dropping trailers with pallet loads in their yard. This meant that there were always many loads on hand for their production needs. Even when the pallet loads were utilized quickly, we had some mold issues. We spent quote a bit of time researching a solution. After many hours of research, we decided to try your AFTS trailer fans. We installed them a little more than one year ago and the fans have worked flawlessly in that time frame. It has resolved our mold issues. With the addition of the side vents we have installed on all of our trailers, there is much better ventilation and it also keeps the van trailers cooler. An added benefit is that the vents allow more light into the trailers making them easier to load. Your products have worked flawlessly for us and we will add them to our existing fleet as the need arises. Thank you AFTS, you make a great product!

We have used Air Flow Trailer Systems for about 1 year now and it has helped us tremendously with our efficiency. It helps keep our pallets dry after unloading from our Kiln. It also benefits us as we do not need to store pallets into a dry area inside and then end up moving it again into a trailer, causing excess movement and wasted time. We can load pallet’s right into the Air Flow Trailer and plug it in and with the air movement it helps take moisture off the pallet’s which makes the pallets ready right away and inhibits mold growth. The air Flow Trailer also minimizes condensation from heating and cooling temperatures outside. It not only improves our efficiency but our customers are seeing the benefit of having them as well.

For the past year and three months, for the transport and temporary storage of new hardwood pallets, Jasper Products, LLC and our vendors who sell us new pallet have been using trailers equipped with fans and vents purchased from AFTS. We have enjoyed amazing success! Because new pallets are made of wet undried wood, instances of mold on pallets were a continual battle here in humid Southwest Missouri, before use of the AFTS fan and vent equipped trailers. Today, now that trailers equipped with the AFTS fan and vent systems, we are seeing zero instances of mold on pallets! JP and our new pallet vendors are very satisfied! AFTS provided detailed installation instructions, which were followed without difficulty. We can keep trailer doors closed at all times, which provides physical security of the new pallets, and keeps us in full GMP compliance. The AFTS fans have been reliable, with no maintenance to date. Some customers have become aware of our deployment of the AFTS systems, and they are very pleased! No going back now – we plan to use the AFTS systems from here on out! The team at AFTS made it easy to get going with the system, they provided excellent customer service. By eliminating the costs we formerly absorbed with moldy pallets, the AFTS systems are providing a good return on our investment!

During the summer of 2014 Jasper Products found that we encountered some issues with mold on our new hardwood grade A pallets. Of course, using moldy pallets in the food and beverage industry is not an option. We had to educate ourselves quickly and find a remedy that would give us confidence in the pallets we were using. We determined we would partner with our new pallets suppliers to equip their trailers with the AFTS system. We acquired AFTS fans to install on the nose of the trailer, along with AFTS vents on rear doors and along both sides of the trailer. The AFTS systems were installed and put into service late in the summer of 2014. When the AFTS system equipped trailers are delivered to Jasper and checked in by our receiving team, they are then backed into energizing stations at our warehouse, where they are plugged into GFI outlets. The AFTS fans run to circulate fresh air through the trailer. As soon as we power-up the fans we can smell the fresh sent of new wood in the air exiting the vents. AFTS’s system really does a great job. The trailers stay plugged in until they are pulled in FIFO order for production use. I would say anyone in the food industry using new pallets it is a no-brainer decision to make an investment in the AFTS system. Especially living in areas where higher humidity is prevalent. We are over a year and ¼ into this process and I can say we have not experienced any mold on our new pallets. The AFTS system has proven to be a great investment for Jasper Products.
